Government to acquire four Bombardier aircraft for Uganda Airlines

Uganda's Minister of Works and Transport Monica Azuba Ntege said the government intends to acquire four Bombardier aircraft with 80 to 100 seats for Uganda Airlines by Dec-2018 (URN, 16-May-2018). The government reportedly plans to subsequently purchase two A330 aircraft. Ms Ntege said the airline is expected to break even after four to five years, according to its business plan.
