Garuda Indonesia handles close to two million passengers at Perth Airport in 10 years

Garuda Indonesia reported (24-Nov-2019) it has handled close to two million passengers at Perth Airport in the 10 years ended 2019. Indonesia is Western Australia's eighth largest visitor market, with 34,000 Indonesian visitors recorded in 2018. The carrier operates four times weekly Perth-Jakarta and daily Perth-Bali services. Perth Airport CEO Kevin Brown said: "Indonesia is Perth Airport's biggest market and while the majority share is made up of Western Australians looking to travel to Indonesia, there's been an 8.5% growth in the number of visitors to WA from Indonesia over the past 12 months".
