Deutsche Bahn and Správa železnic (SŽDC) signed an agreement to develop a Dresden-Prague HSR service (Construction Europe, 04-Mar-2020). The proposal, including the construction of a 25km underground rail tunnel, represents an investment of approximately EUR5.4 billion. Construction of the first HSR Prague-Lovosice line is expected to be complete between 2030 and 2035. The full line is due to enter service by 2050.
