Zipair to add two aircraft every year, plans cargo

    Zipair president Shingo Nishida said the carrier will operate with two aircraft during its first year of operation and expand fleet with two additional aircraft p/a (Traicy/Nikkan Koku, 09/11-Mar-2019). The start up’s first two Boeing 787-8s will be transferred from parent company Japan Airlines, adding it is still studying how it will introduce aircraft afterwards. Mr Nishida also said the carrier will carry cargo in its belly space.
