WSA Co releases tender for land surveys at Western Sydney Airport site

1 November, 2017

WSA Co released (31-Oct-2017) a tender seeking the provision of land surveys at Western Sydney Airport development site. Work include cadastral surveying to map the site boundaries, a topographic survey, and a survey of utilities on site, as well as geometrically corrected aerial photography, so the image can accurately represent true distance. The land survey will support WSA Co's development of a detailed reference design for the airport. WSA Co chair Paul O'Sullivan stated: "Some 22 million cubic metres of earth will be moved to level the site before construction of the first runway and terminal facilities can begin". Submission for this tender is scheduled to close on 27-Nov-2017. [more - original PR]
