WSA awards design and engineering tenders to Arup and Architectus

Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport (WSA) awarded (21-Jun-2019) the following design and engineering tenders:

  • Appointed Arup to help deliver airport planning;
  • Appointed Architectus to plan the airport's almost 200 hectare onsite business park.

Additionally, WSA also shortlisted three organisations for major earthworks, with the contract to be awarded in coming months. Five architectural teams were also shortlisted to design the airport terminal, with Western Sydney university students to be involved. [more - original PR]
