    WOW air CEO Skúli Mogensen forecast Reykjavik Keflavik International Airportcould reach capacity within two years to 2019 (Mbl.is, 28-Aug-2017). Mr Mogensen urged for “cooperation” between all shareholders to enhance the airport’s capabilities as “a powerful” hub, “which is the basis for developing tourism in Iceland“. According to the CAPA database, the airport’s passenger traffic increased by 40% year-on-year in 2016 and is estimated to grow by another 40% in 2017.
