WOW air CEO Skúli Mogensen believes it is unlikely air fares will rise to reflect increasing fuel costs in the near future (Skift, 17-Sep-2018). He said: “It is wishful thinking to think fares are going to go up, just because oil prices are going up. Competition is going to remain very fierce, so airlines have to become smart and redefine how they make money”.
