Wizz Air announced (22-Feb-2018) plans to add a seventh aircraft to the Cluj base in Nov-2018 and launch the following services:
- Vienna: Twice weekly from 30-May-2018, increasing to three times weekly from 28-Oct-2018 and four times weekly from 20-Nov-2018;
- Lyon: Twice weekly from 20-Nov-2018;
The carrier also plans to increase the frequency of the following Cluj services:
- Doncaster/Sheffield: From twice to three times weekly;
- Dortmund: From four to five times weekly;
- Madrid: From four to six times weekly;
- Rome Fiumicino: From four to seven times weekly;
- Paris Beauvais: From six to nine times weekly;
- Bucharest: From 10 to 13 times weekly;
- London Luton: From 19 to 21 times weekly.
Wizz Air offers more than 2.1 million seats on 36 Cluj routes to 18 countries in 2018 and more than 8.9 million seats on 147 Romania routes. The carrier will base 25 based aircraft at Romania. [more - original PR]
