Wizz Air maintains leading position in CCE market

Wizz Air stated (31-May-2019) it continues to lead the Central and Eastern Europe (CCE) region, with a market share of 38.6% in the LCC sector and 16.3% of the total CEE market in FY2019. The carrier launched 125 new routes during the financial year to operate from 25 bases and connect 146 destinations in 44 countries. Wizz Air ranked first in Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Macedonia, Georgia, Serbia, Moldova and Bosnia and Herzegovina LCC markets, excluding domestic capacity, in the year ended Mar-2019.
