Northern Capital Gateway commercial director Evgeniy Ilyin said Wizz Air is in discussions with Saint Petersburg Pulkovo Airport and Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency about the possibility of launching London service (TASS, 01-Mar-2019). Mr Ilyin added certain regulatory restrictions in place relating to the the registration of the carrier. Mr Ilyin said Saint Petersburg Pulkovo Airport is negotiating the possibility of new services with a number of other European and Asian carriers.
