Widerøe expresses concern over proposed tax legislation

Widerøe CEO Stein Nilsen expressed (20-Nov-2019) concern regarding Norway's proposed public transport tax, as it "threatens the existence" of Norway's short haul aviation industry. Mr Nilsen stated Widerøe tickets will increase 30% if the proposed legislation is implemented and it will remove any ability to invest in environmentally friendly technology.
