WFS seizes Boeing 777-300ER owned by Jet Airways due to non payment of handling fees

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) seized a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft (VT-JEW) owned by Jet Airways at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport on 10-Apr-2019 "following a court order issued by Haarlem Court in favour of Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) in relation to the outstanding payment of handling fees" (The Loadstar/Air Cargo News/Economic Times/Business Standard/New Indian Express/CNBC-TV18, 10-Apr-2019). The aircraft was scheduled to operate Amsterdam-Mumbai service on 10-Apr-2019. Jet Airways confirmed the frequency has been cancelled due to "operational reasons". WFS stated: "We hope Jet Airways will be able to resolve this matter as quickly as possible".
