WestJet to add 72 weekly frequencies at Calgary International Airport in summer 2018

WestJet announced (29-Jan-2018) plans to add 72 weekly frequencies at Calgary International Airport in summer 2018. Frequency will increase on the following route:

  • Calgary-Vancouver: 88 to 112 times weekly, or 16 times daily;
  • Calgary-Nanaimo: Twice to three times daily;
  • Calgary-Edmonton: 66 to 79 times weekly;
  • Calgary-Halifax: 14 to 15 times weekly;
  • Calgary-Kelowna: 45 to 47 times weekly;
  • Calgary-Fort McMurray: 24 to 31 times weekly;
  • Calgary-Windsor: Six times weekly to daily;
  • Calgary-Grande Prairie: 18 to 26 times weekly;
  • Calgary-Montreal: 19 to 20 times weekly;
  • Calgary-Abbotsford: 33 to 35 times weekly, or five times daily;
  • Calgary-Penticton: 10 times weekly to twice daily;
  • Calgary-Victoria: 35 to 36 times weekly;
  • Calgary-Dallas/Fort Worth: Six times weekly to daily;
  • Calgary-Las Vegas: 20 to 22 times weekly;
  • Calgary-Palm Springs: Four to five times weekly.

The carrier also plans to launch daily Denver-Calgary service on 08-Mar-2018 and four times weekly Calgary-Mexico City service on 14-Mar-2018, which will then increase to daily on 29-Apr-2018. [more - original PR] [more - original PR - II]
