Western Sydney Airport opened (02-Sep-2019) its Experience Centre to provide a way of connecting the community with the airport. Visitors to the Experience Centre will be taken through a series of interactive stop overs, including an augmented reality preview of Western Sydney International and an airport control room. Earthworks commenced on Western Sydney International commenced in Sep-2018, with more than 1.5 million cubic metres of earth moved on the 1780 hectare site to date. [more - original PR]
