WA Govt freight service departs with 40 tonnes of produce from Perth to Singapore

Government of Western Australia (WA) announced (22-Apr-2020) the first state supported service transporting 40 tonnes of Australian pork, beef and vegetables departed from Perth to Singapore on 22-Apr-2020. The State Government has invested up to AUD624,000 (USD393,122) to temporarily offset increased air freight costs and to support dedicated freight services during COVID-19.
