Volotea CEO Carlos Muñoz reported (30-May-2019) the LCC plans to base two A319s at Cagliari Elmas Airport (castedduonline.it, 30-May-2019). He said the decision represents a EUR30 million investment in what will be the carrier's first base in Sardinia and fifth in Italy.
