Volaris is reportedly considering a fleet wide replacement of seats, deploying seats without reclining capability, to reduce weight and fuel consumption (CNBC, 09-Mar-2018). According to the CAPA Fleet Database, the carrier operates a fleet of 67 aircraft, with four in storage.
