Moscow City construction department head Andrey Bochkarev expects Vnukovo metro station to open by 2022 (Interfax, 03-Jul-2019). The station will serve Moscow Vnukovo Airport and Vnukovo District. As previously reported by CAPA, a new 5.2km metropolitan line segment will be constructed to extend the railway line to Moscow Vnukovo Airport.
