Vistara reportedly plans to delay the launch of Delhi-Colombo Bandaranaike service due to security concerns following the 21-Apr-2019 Easter bombings in Sri Lanka (Economic Times/Aviation Voice Sri Lanka, 20/21-May-2019). The service was expected to mark the launch of international services for Vistara and the airline is now exploring plans to commence its first international service to a destination in Southeast Asia.
