Myanmar's Ministry of Hotels and Tourism reported (09-Dec-2019) visitor arrivals to Myanmar for the 10 months ended Oct-2019. Details include:

  • Visitor arrivals: 1.5 million, +40%;
    • China: 593,658, +161%;
    • Thailand: 218,167, -8%;
    • Japan: 101,996, +24%;
    • South Korea: 91,869, +71%;
    • US: 50,771, +2%;
    • Singapore: 44,149, -2%;
    • Vietnam: 43,146, -2%;
    • India: 38,062, +7%;
    • Malaysia: 34,252, -8%;
