Virgin Australia reports 56% of 2018 pilot cadet intake is female, exceeding its target

Virgin Australia reported (15-Nov-2018) its intake for the 2018 Pilot Cadetship Programme is 56% female, exceeding the carrier's target of a 50:50 male to female intake ratio. The carrier reported the intake is a 200% increase on the female intake for its previous programme. The cadetship will run for 54 weeks at Flight Training Adelaide.
