Virgin Australia CEO: VA 'still in the early stages on transitioning' to lower cost base

Virgin Australia CEO and MD Paul Scurrah stated (26-Feb-2020) despite revenue growth and changes to the carrier's fleet network in H1FY2020, the carrier is "still in the early stages on transitioning our business to a lower cost base. Therefore, the benefits of cost changes and further revenue efficiency have yet to be realised".
