Virgin America reportedly plans to deploy A321neo aircraft on the carrier's final revenue service between San Francisco and Los Angeles on 24-Apr-2018, replacing A320 aircraft (airlinegeeks.com, 08-Apr-2018). As previously reported by CAPA, Alaska Airlines expects its merger with Virgin America will be 75% complete by the end of Apr-2018, by which time the carriers will have a single shopping/reservations/check-in system.
