VietJet may commence Ho Chi Minh City-Darwin service in 2019

Vietnam's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh and the Northern Territory's Chief Minister Michael Gunner said the Northern Territory Government will facilitate the launch of Ho Chi Minh City-Darwin service by VietJet Air in 2019 (Nhan Dan/NT News, 07-Nov-2018). Mr Minh said the parties have potential to increase cooperation in air transport and tourism. VietJet's proposed service would be the only nonstop service between Darwin and Vietnam, according to OAG.
