Dallas Fort Worth International Airport VP of IT services Michael Youngs said nine out of 11 airlines at the airport which utilise the veriScan biometric screening system have had a matching success rate of 97% (Travel Weekly, 03-Jul-2019). He noted the carriers have not yet utilised veriScan for ticketless boarding and use it only for exit clearance, adding American Airlines is still not using the system. Mr Youngs said American Airlines plans to assimilate the full system, which will include ticketless boarding.
