Velocity Frequent Flyer refunds Points spent on unromantic Valentine’s Day gifts

Velocity Frequent Flyer launched (15-Feb-2018) a promotion, offering Australian travellers who used their Velocity Points to purchase "unromantic gifts such as kitchenware" a refund. The loyalty programme will offer members who redeemed their points for items such as toasters, vacuum cleaners, irons and kettles between 06-Feb-2018 and 12-Feb-2018 a full refund, and the opportunity to "have another go at a gift for their loved one" and redeem reward points for a holiday.
