Vanuatu and New Caledonia expand bilateral air services agreement

Air Vanuatu CEO Derek Nice reported Vanuatu and New Caledonia entered a new bilateral air services agreement, permitting increased travel opportunities between the two countries (radionz.co.nz, 15-Apr-2019). Mr Nice stated: "It broadens the opportunity that we have to deliver air service and allows us to grow the level of service that we're offering to meet the growing demand". According to Mr Nice, the new ASA permits the introduction of new routes between Vanuatu and New Caledonia beyond the existing Port Vila-Noumea service.
