Vanuatu and China looking to establish bilateral air service and nonstop routes

Vanuatu's Prime Minister Charlot Salwai said that Vanuatu and China will promote the establishment of an aviation agreement and the opening of nonstop air service between the countries in 2019 (Beijing Business Today, 28-May-2019). He also said Vanuatu is hoping to attract 500,000 Chinese visitors p/a and hopes to attract more Chinese companies to invest in hotels, tourist facilities and transportation in the country.
