Vanilla Air ends all operations as part of Peach merger

Vanilla Air ended all operations on 26-Oct-2019, as part of the budget carrier's planned wind up and integration into the Peach network (Jiji Press/Nippon.com/Nikkei, 26-Oct-2019). Peach CEO Shinichi Inoue said: "A new challenge is underway to become a leading LCC in Asia through integration". The merger of Peach and Vanilla Air creates the largest LCC in Japan in terms of sales volumes.
