US judge dismisses Expedia request for United Airlines fares

US District Court for the Southern District of New York judge Kevin Castel dismissed Expedia's request for United Airlines to continue providing certain data for services operating after 30-Sep-2019 (Travel Weekly, 08-Apr-2019). Judge Castel noted Expedia will suffer no significant loss from being unable to sell United fares from 01-Oct-2019. As previously reported by CAPA, United reportedly plans to remove its fares from Expedia sites in the US and Canada from 01-Oct-2019, due to issues over its contract with Expedia.
