US Government to continue funding EAS programme in FY2018

US Senators Charles Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand announced (26-Mar-2018) the US Government's Omnibus Appropriations package for FY2018 will fully fund the Essential Air Service (EAS) programme. The package will include USD155 million for EAS, which is a USD5 million increase over FY2017.
