US Department of Transportation (DoT) granted (18-Apr-2019) United Airlines and Czech Airlines permission to operate the following services:
- Czech Airlines received a blanket statement of authorisation to codeshare with United Airlines on a wet lease basis on behalf of Eurowings, on foreign passenger and cargo services within Europe and beyond Europe to third countries. The authorisation is effective from 18-Apr-2019 for an indefinite period;
- United Airlines may operate scheduled foreign passenger and cargo service between a point or points in the US and points worldwide on a third country codeshare basis, effective from 18-Apr-2019 to 18-Apr-2021. [more - original PR]
