US DoT officially revokes Baltia’s certificate of public convenience and necessity

    US Department of Transportation (DoT) issued (24-Jan-2018) a final order revoking Baltia Air Lines‘ certificate of public convenience and necessity, due to dormancy. The certificate had authorised Baltia to engage in scheduled international services. As previously reported by CAPA, the carrier had earlier withdrawn its application for air carrier certification.
