UPS to open package operations centre near El Paso Airport in late 2018

UPS announced (06-Feb-2018) plans to commence operation of a USD41 million package operations centre in late 2018 to support commercial and residential commerce at the North American Borderplex gateway between the US and Mexico. UPS' facility near El Paso International Airport will add more than 153,000sqft of processing capacity. El Paso Mayor Dee Margo said: "By increasing the number of direct flights into the area, enhancing our exceptional quality of life and maintaining our large bilingual bicultural workforce, El Paso will continue to attract new investment opportunities" to the North American Borderplex region.
