UPS launches chatbot on Google Assistant

UPS launched (14-Mar-2018) its chatbot on Google Assistant, enabling customers to retrieve information on package deliveries and other services on Android and Apple phones, Google Home and other compatible devices. UPS VP of applications development Andrew Van Beek said: "AI interactions are becoming increasingly more significant at a time when customers perform more business online. This trend demands smooth user experiences, including those that occur via chatbots". The company introduced its chatbot through Facebook Messenger, Skype and Amazon Alexa in 2016.
