United Airlines wants retirement of 757 'as soon as possible'

United Airlines chief operating officer Andrew Nocella said the carrier wants to retire its Boeing 757 aircraft "as soon as possible", but noted this will be dependent upon when the 737 MAX is reintroduced into service (Reuters, 26-Oct-2019). According to the CAPA Fleet Database, United has 77 757 aircraft within its fleet, including two in storage.
