United Airlines: Video streaming now available on 737 MAX 9 aircraft through Viasat

United Airlines, via its official website, advised (Aug-2018) customers are now able to stream videos onboard its flight of Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft through its WiFi service provider. The new 737 MAX 9s equipped with Viasat internet are currently entering service, and do not WiFi internet capabilities for international routes. United expects to "begin offering WiFi service on international flights by the end of 2018". The airline also noted it is looking into ways to expand this capability to more aircraft (Runway Girl Network, 03-Sep-2018).
