UAE's Government of Dubai Media Office, via its official Twitter account, stated (10-Apr-2018) "smart gate" technology will be operational at Dubai airports by the end of May-2018. The smart gates will enable passengers to pass through immigration without assistance or travel documents within 10 seconds.
