Two new airlines seek certification in Ghana, Baby Jet ‘very close to commencing operations’

    Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) director general Simon Allotey reportedly said two new airlines, Ashanti Airlines and Gold Coast Airlines, applied to the GCAA for air carrier licences (JoyBusiness, 17-Apr-2018). Regarding the progress of Baby Jet Airlines, Mr Allotey said the carrier’s certification process is “far advanced” and commented: “They are very close to commencing operations”. DACGoldstar AirMontrac Air and Smile Air are also undergoing certification by the GCAA.
