Turkish Airlines resumes Touristanbul tours for transit passengers

Turkish Airlines tour marketing manager Abdullah Yormaz said the carrier resumed Touristanbul tours for transit passengers staying at Istanbul from six to 24 hours from 01-May-2019 (Daily Sabah, 06-May-2019). The service is free of charge and will offer passengers a selection of six tour programmes until 31-Oct-2019. 67,000 passengers participated in the programme in 2018 and 15,000 in the beginning of 2019. Mr Yormaz said: "As far as we know, there is no other airline company in the world that offers such tours, food and museum entrances free of charge".
