Turkish Airlines increases traffic on Far Eastern routes

    Turkish Airlines recorded 3.6 million passengers on Far Eastern routes in the eight months ended Aug-2018, an increase of 10.1% year-on-year (Daily Sabah, 08-Oct-2018). Load factor increased three percentage points to 85.7%. The carrier is working to increase traffic on China services with the employment of Chinese speaking cabin crew attendants and promotion of travel, including through social media campaigns. China accounts for the most Asia Pacific international departing seats offered by the carrier in the week commencing 08-Oct-2018, according to OAG.
