TUI Group CEO: Sales channels should reflect ‘where the customer is’

    TUI Group CEO Fritz Joussen stated he is “not fussed” if passengers increasingly use online sales channels more than the group’s retail locations to purchase airfares and package holidays (Travel Weekly, 13-Feb-2018). Mr Joussen added the group’s sales channel “should be where the customer is”. As previously reported by CAPA, TUI re-branded more than 600 UK Thomson and First Choice retail travel outlets in 2017.
