Trenitalia French rail subsidiary Thello notified (04-Jun-2019) France's rail and road regulator body of plans to commence twice daily Milan-Lyon-Paris high speed rail (HSR) service from Jun-2020 (Les Echos/tourmag.com, 05/06-Jun-2019). HOP! is currently the sole operator on Milan-Lyon sector with year round air service, while Air France operates Lyon-Paris sector, according to OAG.
