Travelport reports net revenue growth of 4% for 1Q2018, boosted by Beyond Air segment

4 May, 2018

Travelport reported (03-May-2018) net revenue increased 4% year-on-year to USD678 million in 1Q2018 primarily due to growth in Travel Commerce Platform revenue of USD31 million (+5%). Within the company's Travel Commerce Platform, revenue in the Beyond Air segment increased 22% (up USD32 million). Beyond Air revenue was driven by an increase in eNett net revenue of 81% to USD74 million primarily due to an increase in the volume of payments settled with existing customers. This was more than offset by a decrease in Air segment revenue of USD2 million. The decrease includes the impact of the loss of a large travel agency in the Asia Pacific region, offset by growth in other regions. Technology Services segment revenue decreased 12% (down USD4 million), primarily due to the sale of IGTS in Apr-2017. [more - original PR]
