Transavia to roll out new paid overhead cabin baggage allowance policy

Transavia plans to implement a new carry on baggage policy, enabling passengers to pay to receive one guaranteed unit of overhead cabin baggage space to "avoid delays and uncertainties when boarding" (travelpro.nl, 10-Feb-2020). Passengers who purchase hand luggage are offered the option of being the first to board the aircraft.
