Transavia launches voice bookings assistant via Google Home platform

Transavia CCO Nicolas Henin, via his personal Twitter and LinkedIn accounts, reposted (11-Dec-2018) a report stating the carrier launched a new vocal assistant service via the Google Home platform (airplusnews.com/tourmag.com, 11-Dec-2018). The system allows passengers to plan bookings and travel arrangements remotely through voice command technology. Transavia head of digital strategy Vanja Mlaco said passengers "always want to be assisted and reassured", adding the "best way to achieve this is by creating a conversation". According to Google France, 30% of bookings searches will be conducted using voice assistance systems by 2020.
