Transavia France chief commercial officer Nicolas Hénin confirmed the carrier aims to “simplify the customer’s journey even further” (tourmag.com, 12-Jun-2018). Mr Hénin placed emphasis on negotiating new partnerships with digital companies. “The goal is to bring more value… These partnerships are simple to put in place and bring value to our customers… We should announce new ones by the end of the year”, he said. Adjustments for certain routes are “still under consideration,” he added. “Some routes, like Paris–Dakhla are still in economic evaluation… But no closure is yet planned, we maintain the entirety of our network”, he said. As previously reported by CAPA, Transavia France commenced weekly Paris Orly-Dakhla service on 26-Oct-2017. Mr Hénin also stated Joon is “more complementarity than cannibalisation” . He added: “Our markets are relatively different… Joon is based in Paris Charles de Gaulle, and is in fact very integrated in the Air France network”. Mr Hénin further emphasised Transavia is “more in the low cost” and Joon is closer to Air France in terms of product and connections with Air France.
