Tourism Western Australia: Visitor numbers to regional WA bouncing back

Tourism WA reported (16-Apr-2019) the following key highlights for international visitation to regional Western Australia (WA) in 2018:

  • WA's South West region served 195,100 visitors;
  • International visitation to the North West reached 62,900 and the Coral Coast attracted 86,700;
  • 32% of international visitors spent at least one night in regional WA, spending AUD368 million (USD263 million) in the area. [more - original PR]
