Tourism Western Australia announces funding for regional visitor centres

Tourism Western Australia confirmed (23-Oct-2017) 33 regional visitor centres across the state have received government funding for projects to help make them more sustainable. The Regional Visitor Centre Sustainability Grant Programme provides AUD4.2 million (USD3.3 million) over four years to enable regional visitor centres to transition towards financial sustainability. Visitor centres are expected to add AUD117 million (USD91 million) into the State's economy and generate more than 900 jobs. [more - original PR]
